Challenging and Fun

TimeLock'd Escape Rooms make you feel as if you’re actually in a story. Our 'Xscape Factor' game has been created using top technicians, designers and recording engineers to achieve the most realistic experiance.

Unique Themed Rooms

Our rooms are completely unique, with each game and experiance not being replicated anywhere else. We wanted an opportunity to push the boundaries of what escape rooms can offer.

Immersive Experiance

The difficulty of each game puzzle varies - but who doesn’t love a good challenge! We endeavour to ensure a fun and fulfilling experience for everyone.

Family and Friends

Escape Rooms are a great way to have a fun time with your family and friends. They test your team skills and our adventures are all private experiences, meaning your group won’t be paired with anyone else.

Birthday Parties

You are one year older, but are you any wiser? Come to TimeLock'd to test your puzzle-solving abilities! Bring your friends along and celebrate your birthday in our fun rooms.

Team Building

Get out of the office and lock yourself up in a themed room with puzzles! Escape Rooms are a fun alternative to conference rooms and dull icebreakers. You may even beat your boss!

So what exactly is an escape room?

1. Escape within 60 minutes

The principle of an escape room game is simple, you are locked* in a themed room with your team and your goal is to manage to escape within 60 minutes.

(*You may leave the room and return during the game - but the clock keeps ticking!)

2. Look around

You need to use all the resources and clues you find available in the room. Every object, every image, every sign could lead you to the next step and play a role in solving the game and finding your way out.

3. Think!

By using your mind and your group’s collective intelligence you must make sense of all the information and make your way through the storyline so as to not get stuck and exit the room before the time runs out.

4. Ask for help

If you get stuck at a certain point, don’t panic, you can ask for clues and your games master will be very happy to give you a hint in the right direction.

5. Teamwork

The game can be played by groups of 2 to 4 people, the minimum age requirement being 16 for unaccompanied minors. This is the perfect team activity for colleagues wishing to spend some time outside the office, families and groups of friends who want to have a great time!

6. Engaging experience

Unlike any other escape room in the UK, our 'Xscape Factor' game offers the most interactive and engaging experience by bringing you into a real recording studio and where every aspect of the story has been carefully designed so as to absorb you into a real mixing and music environment that you will never forget!

Who goes to escape rooms?

Escape rooms are for all people who like having fun, who enjoy playing games and are looking for a new and exciting experiance. Whether you are a group of friends, family members or coworkers, everyone will find something they enjoy.

Escape rooms are also excellent for team-building. Once the door closes your group will be focused on the singular goal of working together and trying to escape. Consider booking your next corporate or sport teams get-together here.

What actually happens inside an escape room?

After an initial briefing covering the general rules, theme and storyline of your chosen game, our friendly guide will lead you to the door of your escape room. Your group will enter and get acclimatized before the guide leaves you. You will be given instructions on how to get started.

Your group then begins exploring the room, looking for clues and solving puzzles and challenges one-by-one, as you work towards your end goal and escape.

What if I get stuck on a puzzle?

A staff member will be monitoring your progress on CCTV ready to provide you with clues when needed so as to move forward in the game.

What do we need to bring with us?

Just you, your imagination and your best detective hat! Oh and we recommend you wear comfortable clothing.

Can we play the same room more than once?

Yes, of course you can, but you will already know the solutions to some (if not all) of the puzzles, and so you will unfortunately not be eligible for the Hall of Fame, as you will escape very quickly!

What is the minimum age to participate?

The minimum age to participate unaccompanied by an adult is 16. Under 16's need to have at least one adult.
